Company Background

Kim Chong Mechanical Services Sdn Bhd (KCMS) was established and registered in 2003 in accordance to the requirements of Malaysian Laws with the main aim of providing good and quality services for the property development and construction industry. Over the years, KCMS has emerged from a small hydraulic contractor into a highly specialized Class G7 contractor capable of offering fast track solution and construction to all types of water related projects.

KCMS has well qualified and experience individuals in various disciplines who have participated in various projects ranging from commercial development (offices, hotels and shopping complexes), institution buildings (college facilities), residential development (condominiums and landed properties), and mixed development (SOHO). Each project will be managed by a Project Director, General Manager or Project Manager to ensure the smooth transition from construction to handover of project and will work closely with Architect, Consultant as well as Main Contractor.

Services

Hiring, training and supervision of staff. This may include working with apprentice plumbers or hiring plumber’s helpers on a project by project basis;
Bidding on projects or providing estimates based on the information provided by the client and from looking at the project;
Completing all plumbing from installing fixtures to plumbing repair or building new residential or commercial buildings;
Ordering supplies and equipment as needed. Managing inventory to prevent down time when waiting for parts;
Keeping current on all regulation, restrictions and building codes that pertain to plumbing new or existing buildings;
Contractor for government and quasi government projects include water main supply, water reticulation, plumbing and sanitary;

Key Personal

The key members of the firm include Mr. Lock Chee Meng who has over 32 years of experience in contractor firm who has attended a refresher course of plumber type 1 and 2 which was held in February 2006. He was registered as qualified plumber to Jabatan Kawal selia Air Selangor under the Water Supply (Selangor) Rules 1951 and SPAN license (Permit IPA Jenis A1 and A2).

Mr. Lock Chee Kwong who has over 36 years of experience in contractor firm who has attended a refresher course of plumber type 1 and 2 which was held in February 2006. He was registered as qualified plumber to Jabatan Kawal selia Air Selangor under the Water Supply (Selangor) Rules 1951 and SPAN license (Permit IPA Jenis A1 and A2)

Mr. Michael Chang who works in consultant firm previously with the experience of over 30 years to develop detailed engineering design and site implementation and over 28 years of experience in construction firm. He was registered as qualified plumber under the SPAN license (Permit IPA Jenis A1)

Mr. Lian Wei Soon who has over 20 years of experience in contractor firm (Plumbing Services). He was registered as qualified plumber under the SPAN license (Permit IPA Jenis A1 and A2).
